Quba Walking Trail
An urban promenade along the historic Quba Road, bringing together Madinah’s atmosphere, cafés, restaurants and shops while offering visitors a different way to explore the area on foot.
Quba Avenue offers one of Madinah’s most enjoyable walking experiences. It follows the historic Quba Road corridor connecting the area around the Prophet’s Mosque towards Quba Mosque, with much of the route transformed into a pedestrian-friendly urban destination.
Along the avenue, cafés, restaurants, shops and seating areas create a lively atmosphere, while several sites connected to Madinah’s history can be found throughout the surrounding area. Its open walkways offer visitors a slower and more immersive way to experience this part of the city.
The avenue is particularly pleasant from late afternoon into the evening, when the weather becomes milder, storefronts and walkways light up, and the area comes alive. It can be explored on its own or combined with Quba Mosque and Maqsad Quba as part of a wider Quba itinerary.
A route best discovered on foot, one step at a time.
The avenue follows Quba Road, a historic corridor connecting the area of the Prophet’s Mosque with Quba. In modern times, sections of the route have been redeveloped into a pedestrian-friendly urban environment while retaining its connection to Madinah’s identity.
