Al-Qiblatain Mosque
The mosque remembered for the change of the qiblah — which is where its name comes from.
Al-Qiblatain stands west of the city and is among its best-known historical mosques. Its name is tied to the change of the qiblah towards the Kaaba, and that event has become inseparable from the place.
It is set up for visitors today, and fits naturally into a western route alongside the Trench sites and the historical mosques nearby.
Naqsh tip
Combine it with the Trench and Seven Mosques if your day is a historical one.
